First celebrated in 1949, after February 8 was designated Children\u2019s Dental Health Day, it became a month-long celebration more than 30 years later.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

With educational programs available, dentists use the entire month to encourage parents to understand the importance of helping children maintain healthier, longer-lasting smiles.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
